The Director of Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity reports directly to the President of the University. The AA/EEO office has developed and maintains a systematic procedure of reporting and monitoring to ensure full compliance with this policy. Anyone who believes they may have a complaint related to discrimination is encouraged to contact the Director. The complaint may be handled as an informal complaint or as a formal complaint. In an informal complaint , the complainent may simply wish to discuss the problem with the Director and consider options. In a formal complaint, the Director will investigate the complaint and recommend ways to resolve the problem to the appropriate administrative or academic level. In each situation, confidentiality will be maintained to the greatest degree possible.
