Working Group on
Teaching
The Faculty Senate has had groups working on
the general areas of undergraduate teaching and faculty development
since 2008. The working groups have had somewhat different, but
related, charges, and different members. Listed below are the different
working groups and their reports.

The working group presented its first report to the Senate on
February 18, 2009. The
Senate Teaching WG Report summarizes the present status of structures that support and

A subcommittee on the Brown Teaching Awards, chaired by Ann Saterbak, presented its recommendations to the Faculty Senate on December 8, 2010. Members of the subcommittee included Bridget Gorman, Ed Segner, Mark Kulstad, Geoff Winningham, and Art Gottschalk. The Senate endorsed the report and sent it to President Leebron for action.
